With the March Triathlon Series on a Saturday, you can now spend and enjoy an entire weekend in beautiful San Luis Obispo and its neighboring towns.  No more having to rest up and take it easy all weekend due to a Sunday race! There are plenty of things to do. You’ll find accomodations and reccommended activities on this page.

Go Kayaking-San Luis Obispo is known for its beautiful coast, experience it yourself with SLO Kayaks.

Thursday night Farmers Market-San Luis Obispo’s Thursday Night Farmers market is well known for its great food, variety of produce, street performances and overall great atmosphere. If you are getting into town early, check it out 6-9pm every Thursday.

Hike Bishops Peak- Get an arial view of San Luis Obispo from Bishops Peak. If you still want more the day after MTS, this is the perfect hike for you! Start your journey at the end of highland road.

Pick your Own Fruit at Cal Poly’s U-pick- It is Satusma season at Cal Poly’s very own student run U-pick. Come on out to campus and hand pick satsumas for a pre/post race treat! Fridays: 1pm-5pm Saturdays: 10am-2pm.
