Why did you initially start triathlon?
I wanted to try something new. Didn’t plan on continuing with it because of all the costs, but I soon realized it was worth every penny!

What is your best leg of the triathlon?
Run.
What inspires you to train?
food, runner’s high, and improvement!
What are some of your goals for the 2012 race season?
Not get passed by different colored swim caps!
Why did you decide to join the Cal Poly Triathlon team?
Down-to-earth crowd that can work hard and have fun at the same time.
Most memorable race experience?
The Wildflower race finish…the adrenaline.
What is your favorite part about racing MTS?
It was my first triathlon and I got 2nd place in my division last year, so it has a special place in my heart!
What motivates you during a race?
The racer in front of me and telling myself it won’t kill me to go a little faster.

traditions, social gatherings, people that I adore, what’s not to love.
