Race Updates (3/22/2012)
Rain is a possibility for Saturday, but it’s not expected until after 11:00 am! Nevertheless, be sure to pack and be prepared for wet weather!
Packet Pickup will take place friday from 2:00-8:00 pm at GH Sports in San Luis Obispo (More info under Race Day Info)! Sign-ups will also take place there on Friday. Race day packet pickup and sign-ups will take place at the lake on Saturday from 4:45-7:00 am!
Relay racers: your relay team will be given a single timing chip and race number. You must pass the chip from racer to racer IN TRANSITION. There will be a pre-race talk for relay racers on race day in transition to cover these and other important details, so don’t miss it!
Dr. Miro from SLO Wellness center will be on hand at 5:00 am race day to offer advice and help athletes warm up before the race. Take advantage of this great opportunity!
Littering is strictly prohibited! Please dispose of trash in the proper receptacles. Bottles can be dropped at the Olympic Aid station for the bottle swap.
Stay safe on the course! Please slow down for our posted no passing zones and sharp turns. Keep your helmet buckled at all times, obey all traffic laws, and remember that bar end caps are mandatory!
After the race, enjoy some delicious fruit grown here at the Cal Poly Farms and baked goods from several local vendors!
Only your rack in transition will be assigned this year! Be sure to get your bike in the right rack, but you can choose your own spot!
All WCCTC Athletes must wear a current team uniform. Read the WCCTC rules here!
