Dear Triathletes,
We are eager to kick off this year’s 7th Annual March Triathlon Series, which will place in the spring of 2012! With excellent advising from our previous race directors, and an experienced and dedicated committee, we expect to carry the positive reception we received in 2011 and make several improvements to the race as well. Whether a beginner or expert, MTS aims to challenge athletes at every level, while providing a safe and fun experience for everyone!
As you may have noticed, we have already begun to make several improvements to last year’s race event. This year we have moved our swim to the lake marina, making the marina parking lot the location of our transition area. In addition, we are currently in the process of deciding on green and sustainable upgrades.
We are passionate about directing the March Triathlon Series this year & we hope that, as racers, you share this enthusiasm with us!

Renee Hamilton
Renee Hamilton is a third year History major, working toward minors in Psychology and Spanish. She loves traveling, the Cal Poly Triathlon Team, all cute animals, and life in general.
Katie Rollins
Katie Rollins is a 3rd year student who happily studies Civil Engineering and hopes to minor in Mathematics. She can’t get enough of Triathlon, SLO, the outdoors, & the world around her.
